On Sunday 18 January in the morning we immensely enjoyed the visit of the Revd Dr Gnanavarum and his wife Kiruba, who shared with us what it means to be Christian in the southern part of India. We were taught two hymns popular in the Church of South India, and heard a forthright yet graceful rendition of the uniqueness of Christ based on John 14:6 I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.

At the shared lunch afterwards Gnana and Kiruba fielded our many questions, and told us of their fund raising project to help Christian students from an impoverished area in South India who need stationery, books, and basic goods for health and welfare.
