There are times when something comes up, perhaps suddenly, and it can be helpful to know that a small group of people can be joined in prayer by making a simple telephone call. This ministry adds to and does not replace the pastoral and visiting work of the church.

Meeting most months on a Monday evening, you will find
some Men Behaving Acceptably as they compete with a speaker
for the sought-after MBA Diploma. They tackle the serious issues of the day,
like parenting, the ethics of corporate and social governance, the state of
the health service, the media world, the energy crisis, helped by speakers
eminent in their fields.
Held in an informal village venue with a bar and a light supper, and very
welcoming to newcomers. For what's on go to the MBA
website.

Surfers is the name we give to our Sunday
morning activities for children, which fit being in church for part of the
service with time in age-based groups in the adjacent Old School Rooms. A
Creche for the really young ones operates in the Tower Room at the back of
church during Sunday morning services.
